After the success of the series Robin Hood, the BBC tries again launching another myth of the literature in a TV series on the fantasy genre-adventure, set in medieval England, from nuances of magic.
Merlin, thirteen episodes dedicated to the history of Merlin, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, designed by Julian Murphy and Johnny Caps.
The series will start telling the young Merlin forced to learn the art of magic hidden in a Camelot where magic is been banned.
The new fiction, for all families, launches three debutant actors (for them only brief appearances in other TV series) for the main roles: Merlin is played by Colin Morgan, Bradley James King Arthur and Guinevere by Angel Coulby .
There will, however, also sometimes known as Anthony Head (Giles on Buffy) Part of King Uther, Santiago Cabrera (Isaac Mendez in Heroes) to that of Lancelot, while Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman) and John Hurt will be respectively the evil sorceress Nimueh and the voice of the dragon.
