Bahá'u'lláh teaches us that God is unknowable in His Essence. This means that we must not create us in His image a nostra mente, per esempio quella di un uomo.
In generale, la creatura non può comprendere il proprio creatore.
Per esempio, un tavolo non può comprendere la natura del falegname che l’ha costruito.
L’esistenza del falegname è totalmente incomprensibile per gli oggetti da lui costruiti.
